The Pioneer DJ DDJ-200 is the latest entry-level smart DJ controller with compatibility with Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android devices. The two-channel controller features a jog wheel, tempo slider, cue and play/pause buttons, beat sync, and eight performance pads per deck. The center section is modeled after a standard DJ mixer with a three-band EQ, channel effects (CFX), a volume fader per deck, as well as a crossfader. The headphone selection allows you to cue each deck or listen to the master mix.

For the beginner DJ, there are several features to help you achieve professional sounding mixing. Transition FX reproduce various patterns of DJ mixes between tracks, while Phrase Sync uses analyzed track information to align the start and end phrase positions of two tracks. Additionally, help is available for the novice via tutorials and pop-up hints to get you up and running in no time.

The controller is packaged with Pioneer DJ's WeDJ software for iPhone and a rekordbox dj dongle for using rekordbox dj on a Mac or Windows computer. The Pad Scratch is engaged via the performance pads and offers eight distinct scratch techniques recorded by DJ Jazzy Jeff. Any track playing or cued will be scratched. What's more is that the scratch speed is automatically matched to the tracks BPM.

The FX Fade feature allows for smooth mixing between two tracks. The function lowers the volume and applies FX to a track at the same time. There are eight FX patterns to choose from including two of the following types: high-pass filter, low-pass filter, loop playback, and backspin. The center panel of the DDJ-SB3 is a 2-channel mixer with a built-in soundcard, low-jitter clock, and high-performance digital-to-analog converter. Each channel features a trim, a 3-band EQ, a two-way filter, and a level fader. The Pioneer DDJ-SB3 is bus powered and ships with a USB cable.

The Pioneer DJ 4-channel DDJ-SZ2 from Pioneer is the all-in-one flagship Serato DJ controller system designed for live performance applications such as at a party or in a club. This updated version is equipped to control the latest additions to Serato DJ including key shift, key sync, pitch play, and Serato flip. Additional updates include an improved jog-wheel with better latency to make scratching more responsive and precise. The control load and continuous backspin time of the wheels can be adjusted for different scratch and playing styles. Pitch control sliders, cue and play controls, loop controls, and a needle search touch strip enable precise and flexible control over each track.

The Numark NS6II USB Controller is a 24-bit, 44.1 kHz Serato DJ control surface designed to work with Serato DJ's four decks and features two USB ports for easy DJ hand offs. The NS6II includes two 6" multifunction touch-capacitive jog wheels with integrated high-resolution, full-color LCDs, which display BPM, platter position, time remaining, pitch adjustment, and keylock. The controller is bus powered and unlocks both rekordbox DJ and Serator DJ Pro software without the need for a subscription. There are 10 different scratch patterns and you can switch from one to another simply by moving the playhead position shown on the jog wheel's display so that it points toward the angle of the scratch you want to use.
